The guidelines for the third round of the Morrison Government’s Consumer Travel Support Program (CTSP) have been released today.

This round provides $75.5 million in targeted support and will be open to eligible travel agents and travel arrangement service providers who continue to help consumers rebook travel using linked travel credits. to existing COVID.

Applications for the third round of grants will open March 29 and close April 20, with submissions assessed upon receipt and payments processed once the application is approved.

Trade, Tourism and Investment Minister Dan Tehan has invited all eligible travel agents to access the support material and, if eligible, to apply.

“The Australian tourism industry is rebounding, and with the release of our THRIVE2030 strategy, Australian tourism will only get better and better.” said Mr. Tehan.

“All eligible companies will be able to access guidelines and support material to help them with their applications.”

So far, eligible companies have received $184 million under the program, with 5,455 grants awarded to approximately 3,233 travel agents and travel arrangement service providers.

Round 3 of the program is open to businesses that have received a CTSP Round 2 or Round 2 Multi-outlet payment.

This is in addition to a new flow for qualifying travel agents and travel arrangement service providers who commenced operations in calendar year 2019 (or until March 31, 2020) and completed a revenue between $50,000 and $20 million (prorated) during that year. .

Maximum grants of $90,000 up to $7,500 will be awarded based on eligible sales and reference period under the second round and/or Multi-Point of Sale program.
